The Oiler/Serviceman is responsible for lubricating, performing safety checks, and monitoring fluid levels on trucks and equipment.
This position assists heavy-duty mechanics during repairs and maintenance activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED)

Service engine, drivetrain, hydraulic and cooling systems on Heavy Duty equipment and vehicles

Monitor fluid levels on all vehicles and equipment.

Perform brake inspections on air brake systems.

Maintain records and logs of fluid consumption.

Maintain schedules of all requests and work orders.

Assist mechanics during repairs and maintenance activities.

Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and the general work area.

Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.

Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required and a minimum five years of experience with: Cat and Cummins engines, Cat loaders, dozers, rock trucks and graders, Volvo loaders, Hitachi Excavators, Manlifts, Tucker Snow cats, Vacuum trailers and Kenworth Tractors.
Mobile crane experience preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS
North Slope Training Cooperative certification and a minimum of a Class B commercial drivers license required.

candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:

Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.

Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.

Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.

Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam.

Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
The availability of this position is contingent upon the Company’s continued operational needs once training is completed.
