Field Engineer – HCC
JOB SUMMARY
The Field Engineer will provide support in evaluation of problems & solutions. Ensure that the field has sufficient information and documentation to maintain integrity of work, while complying with applicable codes, current specifications and field philosophies. They will maintain project documentation in accordance with requirements. Field verifies drawings for field fabrications and installation. Prepares design change requests for design changes or clarifications, estimate projects, plan projects, organize projects, report progress, and establish punch list for job completion and walk downs for turnover to client. Responsible for preparation of red lines. Prepares interim and completion project reports. Other duties as assigned.
This is a project length position that will last from approximately September 2023 until Mid-April 2024. The position is based on the North Slope of Alaska and will be either 2x2 or 3x3 rotation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Able to work well in a team environment.
· Detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
· Three (3) or more years of experience and / or education in construction engineering and power engineering.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Valid Driver’s License

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:
· Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.
· Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.
· Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
· Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam
· Required to complete and successfully pass a background check.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
The availability of this position is contingent upon the Company’s continued operational needs once training is completed.
