JOB SUMMARY
The Equipment Expeditor is responsible for expediting project materials and equipment from the supply area to the jobsite. This position coordinates the movement of materials and equipment throughout the field in accordance with project schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned)

Maintain current records of purchase orders and delivery dates.

Interface with suppliers to resolve equipment and material defects or delays.

Interface with accounting and suppliers to clarify invoice charges as required.

Operate forklifts, flatbed trucks, and pickup trucks to secure and deliver loads of various sizes to jobsites.

Prepare and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

Provide care and custody of stored materials.

Transport employees, equipment, and supplies as required.

Perform routine and scheduled facility maintenance activities.

Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.

Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three years related experience and training required.

Experience in materials, logistics, or procurement preferred.

Experience in the oil and gas industry and in the arctic environment preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS

Commercial driver's license (Class B) with hazardous material endorsement required.

Driving record must meet Company requirements.

North Slope Training Cooperative certification may be required.
It is recommended that all current employees inform their managers when they apply for new positions as leadership will be notified of current employees applying for posted positions.
A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:
1. Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.
2. Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.
3. Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
4. Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam.
The availability of this position is contingent upon the Company's continued operational needs once training is completed.
